Saw the movie today and it was the best movie I've seen at a theater in a long time.
The story is about Michael Keaton who's directing and acting in a stage play on Broadway, but because people only remember him from his role as Batman, he's struggling to have people take his efforts seriously. This is it in a nutshell, but there's so much more to it that I don't want to give away. It's brilliant.
The dark humor in it got many laughs out of me unlike those dumb comedy movies that are actively being silly the whole time. The way it was shot and the visuals of the movie were also really interesting and enjoyable to look at.
The movie won Oscars for Best Motion Picture, Best Writing and some other awards too. But they don't matter, because only my opinion is what counts.
