I don't like to complain like that, but... i'll do it.

I don't see any rules on the forum, except that post:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=4406

The problem is, some people (no names nor rank) have the custom to joke or fool around everytime they see a new post, even they're not concerned about it... trolling, spamming post and making the thread going off topic on purpose!

From the post above, it was already pointed.
And it seems nobody care!

Is it allow to Spam any post cause there is no rules against it?
Is it allow to make fun of someone just to troll him and his post?
Is it allow to waste serious posts in spam just to feed your number of posts?
What can't we say? I don't see any moderating rules for the forum about language!

There is a serious problem of respect here.
Some people spend a lot of time to make some posts, feedback, and they are reward by pointless jokes, troll, spam or teasing... with no consideration of the post!

Is it right, when there is an actual purpose of a post, to have people behave like that?

You are right respect with that. No one must spam or trolling in any post. At the moment, could be good have these rules. 8-)

We have this thing here, which I do hope you read through when you first applied to be a regular. :P These rules and guidelines apply to both the servers and the forums, regs and clan members alike. If you feel like you've been mistreated, it is alright to bring it up as long as it's done in a constructive way instead of raging.

Spamming and trolling is shunned upon, but is not strictly forbidden. It usually depends on the thread it happens in.

This is just a guidelines...
It's no rules or anything!

So general like "friendly and positive atmosphere"...
That if people just put off topic, positive and friendly spam or trolling posts,
there is no probs!
Spoiler Alert:

Or "Don't discriminate other players"
Some make fun of me just because of my way of talking (i make some mistakes due to write in a foreign language, or me using to much ponctuation... making some false assumptions), and criticize me more from the shape than the content!

"Treat other players with the same respect that you would wish to receive"
If someone make an answer with the only purpose of joking, fooling me around...
Where is the respect?
I treat them with as much respect (no respect) with my answers defending myself...
Some people really forget that!

Here some rules:
viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3381

But nothing really applying to the specifics of the forum!

It's lacking of stuffs here!

There is thread for joking... for spamming...
viewforum.php?f=32
Some for talking about serious stuffs,
some for specifics ones...

I'm a FF2 player.
Why is there people that spam FF2 subject with silly jokes,
useless and no constructive answers... when they don't even
set foot in the FF2 servers?
Know you place guys!

Because some people have "nothing to say" on some thread,
they just criticize the form... cause in fact they don't even care about the subject!

Better to kill the time spamming other posts with silly jokes.

That's a form of disrespect!
I'm trying my best to make my post understandable...
I spend sometime hours to make it concrete, with presentation,
pictures, even video made by myself...
Make interesting threads, with content...
What did i got?

Silly purposeless Jokes that i don't even see it jokes...
Spoiler Alert:

Attacks on my language... vehemently... when i didn't do anything to deserve that!
Spoiler Alert:

Critics for one word about a 3 pages subject...
Spoiler Alert:

For me guys, that's provocation...
So, Sorry if i don't show respect to members...
But when people just disrespect me like that, wasting my posts,
i defend myself showing the same respect they shown me!

I'm a guy with general culture, with a lot of life experience,
cause of my works and studies... in medical stuffs.
I'm curious and love to get knowing how stuff works!

I don't like being criticize, and i'm a kind of passionate guy.
That's not like i'm stubbornly not going to listen,
i'll talk... and what i really hate about,
is when the others act with obscurantism,
just not even answering questions!

Here, there is no explain rules, so it cause to fight each
other cause everyone has its own rules!

Frog could have a taboo about Frog legs talking.
It seem not... but let's see further...
Is Political stuff taboo?
If someone ever talk about Palestine or Israel?
It will be offensive... and nobody is right,
but it's nowhere said about this in rules!

Here an example (Spion community):
Quote:
NO first / up / like / flood or other "games" like this.
Avoid commentaries off topic and/or provocation purpose
No insult, mocking, discrimination between members
No link/images with adult content (porno/violence) or inappropriate connotations
Please stay polite and tolerant in the threads

So why not having rules instead of having hidden personals rules?
