I believe we may need to clearly define some guidelines or "Forum Rules". As such I have posted this discussion in the aptly named and I believe appropriate forum. In the past the reg's code has been used to great lengths in policing what we define as acceptable but without a clear guideline for anything other than the tf2 servers I feel we may run into issues as people might not be aware of what this community stands for in other mediums.
As per I suggest these rules/guidelines for the forum:-
[*]Try to maintain a friendly and positive atmosphere on the forum by discouraging bad attitudes in a diplomatic way. Don't fight fire with fire. [*]Be helpful to new users on our forum. [*]Don't discriminate other players based on their age, gender and ethnicity. A good attitude is all that matters. [*]Treat other players with the same respect that you would wish to receive. [*]Get more involved in the community. Join our mumble server, join our servers, organize events or whatever you think would benefit or add to the community. [*]Certain words also can cause offense to others, If you are called up on such an occasion kindly substitute the word using a thesaurus and try not to make an issue out of it. If you believe this is an issue please make a new thread for appropriate discussion. [*]A simple test is to ask could any part of this be offensive to anyone? try to make any topic neutral
[*]Do not knowingly create duplicate forum accounts for trolling or to get "perks" on smurf steam accounts thanks ked
Any other suggestions? maybe we should have a suggestions forum/sticky?

Re: Forum Guidelines
I disagree...
Spam or trolling problem is not even in this! Teasing people is not a good attitude.

Certain attitude too... Like posting pointless and meaningless stuff, to piss off people!

A good attitude begin by respecting the subject of the post! If you have nothing constructive to say, why are you posting? Off topic should be moderated, or began "Off topic" tag or spoiler using... Some seems to forget about that!
