Good stuff ... I'm guessing we have a fair few new official Hampshirians since I was last officially active!
Have only had a few folks come 2 at a time so far (maybe the hair and beard?) but it's just a handy, decent-size place for people to camp if they're bold enough for all that.

Summer's waning now so I'm thinking a day meet may be best for all? Am interested in Indoor... How did it go?? R

Anyone tried the 'Air-soft' malarky?

I remember going paint balling a few years ago (first time) at Petworth. On our arrival we were given a briefing, breakfast and some tokens we could use to upgrade weapons etc. My mate decided to use our tokens on the summer camouflage gear thinking we'd blend in and avoid hostile fire from the more experienced guys (blend in = hiding like cowards). Who needs large magazine auto loaders when you can be stealthy with the beginners gun...

It was a Sunday morning in the middle of November. We never stood a chance.

That was a bloody painful day and those squishy paint balls seem to solidify some what in the winter air. They never told us about that little detail in the briefing.

I also hid in a shed for the duration of one round.

Got to wear a big floppy hat though, and so pretended to be like Arnie in the Jungle.

Never went again.

I've been baalling 5 times now, and each time something has gone wrong. First time I was shot in the back of the head, another one was a nutshot, the third was a huge onslaught of 8 enemies, fourth was a large, loud, cramped arena, and fifth went well, until I had to go riotshield man. End game, people fired all their spares at me. I was hit in my scrawny arm 9+ times. Still hurts a bit, and that was october!

Small teenage boys of my stature shouldn't run with the big guns.
