Basic standing rules for Ladies Night have been moved into the Announcements section of the Matches & Tactics forum. If you want to sign up to Ladies Night (or any of the other community nights along the same lines) please ensure you are familiar with the rules.
Not knowing or following the rules is more an issue of it making life more difficult for the organisers running the events and this can understandably make them less inclined to run them. No willing organisers = no events, so if you like playing in the community matches it's sensible to play along
