Re: The Christmas Day Food Thread...
Toast and marmalade for brekkie, nut roast and lots of veggies, followed by Christmas pud and brandy cream for Chrimbo dinner and a couple of savoury biscuits with cheese for my evening meal. I then played some TF2 and had a typical pyro supper of several roast spies and scouts. Best of all tho' is the lurvely bottle of 1989 Penfolds Grange, that I've steadily been consuming through the afternoon and evening. tastic. (Note: Christmas pud was of course accompanied by a glass of Rutherglen muscat).

Well, we celebrate it all the 24th, so i post my food for that day (Open presents etc. the 24th)
During the day i ate homemade liver paste and "rullesteg". (Pork wrapped around various spices, sliced on a piece of bread with mustard) And of course various types of Christmas chocolate & cookies
For dinner we had pork loin with crackling & roasted duck, grilled on a Weber grill (My dad is a Weber fanatic), along with some awesome sauce, caramelized potatoes etc. (Finally figured out the secret ingredient in my dads sauce! Mushrooms! I'd never have guessed...)
And for desert we got the usual rice thing, where i found the nut and won the present =P In my first bite even, which was awesome as i hate the stuff hehe.
Christmas day we ate the rest of the meat cold on bread, with some potatoes and bacon, fish etc., a nice cold table.
That's what we danes usually eat Lots of meat. And sauce. And potatoes! (Gonna spend the next couple of days experimenting with mushroom sauces - they kick ass, even though i hate mushrooms xD)
