The inbetweeners movie

IF you enjoy the series i guarantee you will love this.

Have not seen any film in recent years that's anywhere near as funny, same crude humour and laugh out loud moments, the other half was cracking up despite pretending to not like the series at all. It's a little on the short side at 1 hour 20 / 40 (i like my movies at the 2 hour mark minimum), but i had this as a day one watch and i'm glad i did.

what ever you do don't borrow £20 from jay

Star Trek (the next next generation).

I suppose it was ok, it did a decent job explaining why things are different, although the exposition felt a little obvious at times. Essentially there isn't much of a story there beyond "bad guy wants revenge".
The one thing I couldn't shake was the feeling that the cast was attempting to do impressions of the original characters. It seemed a little off.

The visuals were nice, at least, they were when it didn't look like this:

The Guard

A very enjoyable film with a brilliant script. Great chemistry between Brendan Gleeson and Don Cheadle. It's like an Irish version of Police Squad without the puns and slapstick. Go see it.

The Dark Knight rises. Such a fantastic ending to a brilliant trillogy, i loved every second of it. It really could not have ended any better. And the soundtrack, oh god the sound track was imense. And Michael Caine gets extra points for almost making me cry like a litte girl.

Go see as soon as you get a chance to.

Attack The Block, recorded off Film4 recently. All about a bunch of council estate urchins who find themselves in the midst of an apparent alien invasion of their block. A lot better than it sounds! The director gets a good acting performance out of the pretty young main cast, though non-brits might feel the need for subtitles in places :P

Abraham Lincoln vs Zombies... So shitty acting, I felt like the pron was missing the whole film...

Saw Salt the other day... Was not entertained... sorry to you angelina fanboiz...

Dark Knight Rises... Too long, seriousely. At some point I thought: If you do not get how evil and bad ass Bane is now I can't imagine how you are getting any of this... Also the girl jumps into bed with mr wayne the second they are alone and if that didn't tell you she was evil just remember... YOU ALL KNEW RAS AL GHOUL HAD A DAUGHTER NOT A SON(if you are a true batfan ofc)

Batman Rises - Well, at least the action scenes were understandable, not like that prison transfer in Dark Knight. I especially liked the lack of Joker despite every criminal being released. Furthermore, the lack of chaos in the city that has no rules and survival is the only thing that matters. I had hoped for Arkham City conditions with criminals on every corner and in every dark, damp alley.
