Saw Underworld 'rise of the Lycans' last night, the third in the Underworld series and a look back far into the past of Underworld's mythology.
Quite a good watchable film, if not slightly lacking of the originals then definately a different feel to it. Much of this is the new historical setting but it also focuses on some central characters and their relationships without giving away details.
Def will be appreciated by folks who've seen the first two films... Would almost be good to watch this before watching 1+2 perhaps... hadn't considered that... but it did leave me wanting to watch the original Underworld again soon.
There's a few areas of lycan history I thought they could've taken a little further and maybe gone further back... but there could be another UW film, who knows nowadays.
As usual I will disagree. I thought rise of the Lycans was awful (actually I think the whole series was, but whatever). The only redeeming feature in any of those films was Kate Beckinsale, and sadly she doesn't make much of an appearence in the prequel.
I have a stack of Clint Eastwood's films too watch but I started with this. I must say it is fantastic. His racial slurs, old man grunting and hatred of Asians are some fine moments. You can just see his "old man-ness" for the hate towards the kids and there is a good message with the ending. A great film, which has a lot of funny moments, 5 stars.
I saw Superbad with bad expectations, cause I didn't think it was that good. But it turned out to be a super film ! The actors were great and the plot was okay. I laughed every now and then All in all it was a good movie to watch. P.S: McLovin ftw!

One of the lads at work lent me "You Don't Mess with the Zohan", finaly got round to watching it at the weekend, wasn't what i expected, thinking more action.
Loved the film, very funny and suits Adam Sandler down to a tee.
If you have a good sense of hummer you should like it.
I saw it last night, but it sucks. It's generally about most famous british prisoner, but frankly i've counted every second until it ended ... Only one scene was epic, when he punched his teacher and than thrown table on him That was really epic ...

Re: The last film you watched and ur thoughts.
Lesbian Vampire Killers.... meh. Oh and The Guns of the Navarone, just because it is awesome!
Don't be afraid to post full reviews if you've really enjoyed a film (sadly not happened to me for a while!)
Oh and Inside Joke I maybe sounded like I was reccomending UW3 a little too strongly... I do watch alot of eventual crap and I thought it better than the average twaddle, although I did say it was lacking of the originals (or should I say original, 2 wasn't much better). I thought UW1 was conceptually pretty good but maybe not realised quite as well as it could've been.
