Post I am Legend
There's a really really good DVD rip of this going about. Is clearly from a promotional copy that someone (stupidly) lent out... boy are they in trouble!

The film itself was quite a plesant surprise. Something like a cross between 28 days later, Pitch black and Mad Max. Worth checking out if u can find this version, I found it on Joox but I have a feeling its gone now... lucky i d/l'd it :)

What did other people make of it? Will Smith not one of my fav actors for serious parts but I thought he carried it off...

Pretty scary. Until the cartoon infected arrived that is! CGI was just pathetic. 28 Days Laters budget was probably about 2% of this movie and is much better imo. Will Smith was great tho, very moving in parts.

I watched this on Saturday and expected a Cast Away experience with a mixin of Mad Max
so I was somewhat surprised when it turned into Resident Evil movie. I was very disappointed
with the story and the CGI zombies.

Golden Compass sucked as well :)

I didn't enjoy the film that much, it was ok but just a bit boring, and the seemed to jump around too much...Like the time he got caught in that trap and was hanging upside down...how the hell did the trap get there? who set it? who moved the mannequin etc

Plenty of reindeers in New York State, lions escaped from the zoo, the zombies were not as un-intelligent as he thought and he planted the cornfield himself is my guess

It was that "chief" zombie.

Still a so-so movie tho.
