Played some online yesterday...started out with Honda and Rog but after effortlessly crushing all the D-rank mongs I switched to Yang...it wasn't pretty.
The amount of mash-out ultras and reversals you eat when you play rush-down in this game is absolutely un-fucking-believable. I don't even get mad anymore, it's just SF4.
As they get up in the corner and are put into blockstun (assuming they don't random DP my divekick/grab/sweep/crossup/mk), I can virtually see a speech-bubble above their heads that reads "lawl, you try your combo, I'll just be sitting here mashing d,df,p until you screw up". And then either I bait it, try to punish, and eat another DP (or a grab, or a mk combo) because lp DP recovers way too fast, or I don't try to bait it, and pray I'm hitting that 1 frame-link. If I do, I get, oh, let's say...~250 dmg and reset the situation- but it's as much of a gamble for me, as it is for them.
Now, if you take all of this, and compare it with playing turtle-style, I really have to wonder why anyone sane would expose himself to the abuse you have to endure playing aggressively, just because that's how this retarded game works.

See the Kunai-setups on wakeup? That's what makes Ibuki a good character, l2p Also please direct your attention towards the amount of random DPs, neckbreakers, jumps, kunais, command grabs and ultras used.
