Try and understand the difference between cheap and value for money.
Try and understand that the target market for the MacBook Air is not small
boys who have no money, but business professionals that travel and need
a small light machine.
The MBA is smaller and lighter than the Dell (and hopefully does not give uts
users eletrical shocks) and this costs money.

I didn't think it was for small boys. If you think the Apple has aimed this at business professionals simply because it is small and light then I think you are wrong, because it isn't small. Although it might be thin, the length and width matter to.
Volumetrically it's much much larger than true ultra-portable machines like the Sony Vaio TZ series and the Asus Eee PC.
Another problem with it is that it doesn't have a long enough battery life for the average business exec. Neither have Apple aimed it has such as they don't generally go after the corporate market and they don't have an existing corporate distribution and haven't made any announcements to support that sort of move.

Well that's all I've got to say on that anyway. Wasn't ever intended to get personal. Just an opinion on the latest electronic jewellery from Apple.
