We finally got a video together, to show off our project from last semester, named "Intuitive Interaction"

It's inspired from Minority Report

Cool! Looks like a neat project but wouldn't it be easier with a Wiimote? It would save you all that Marcel Marceau style waving your arms around



Or if you do like waving your arms around, why not go gloves free?

We've seen both those demonstrations with the wiimote, and their great But we've done it in a little different approach. Materials was around the cost of 13 pounds for our project, so we was able to do it pretty cheap hehe Cheap ass webcam we hacked hehe.

The idea with the gloves was that you actually grab things, physically. Whereas the wii mote you have to click - which is not our desired method, as that is bad for the hand. (We had some counseling with a physiotherapist)

Also, the purpose of the semester was for us to use image processing. The wiimote and the wii does all that - we wouldn't be able to do it then, and learn from it. So instead we have made this, which is all made from the bottom up, getting our hands dirty in the same stuff that is inside the wii.
