Picked up the Korg DS-10 program for the nintendo DS today, it's very addictive.. Gave it a spin and this is the end product after screwing around with it for too long. Some kind of 8-bit.. thing. Bit of a live performance as far as recording goes, the sequencing part of the program is kind of fiddly.. ended up a bit too long i think as a result.
Wow, it's even got panning?
Cool sounding track, like the off kilter drum beat.

Yeah, according to the wiki page for it, it's a fairly faithful emulated Korg synthesizer with a couple of alterations.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KORG_DS-10
Pretty daunting, as i have absolutely no idea what VCO's, LFO's, envelope generators etc. actually are, but just through trial and error, playing with it can produce some very cool audio.. although crafting a decent drum sound is a nightmare when i have no idea what i'm doing, so i stuck to the defaults they provided with a couple of minor tweaks.
i remember seeing early versions of that at FRD looked like a dam good tool, moreso than a lot of PC software and very close to an actual moog/analogue synth. cool to hear something made on it i boogied like a drunk person to it
may as well upload these never going to do anything else with them, some of what i had left after a HD mangle, never rely on vsts!
ok heres what i consider to not be some of my crap dnb, i kid ye not although the drums are more of a placeholder its far from finished, need alot of drum work basically thats the next step, also the sample at the end isnt meant to be there its just a timestretched fail
Had some fun in FL today, came out with something that actually sounded nice, but the program crashed. And because it's the free version I couldn't save the thingy before. I did there 3 minutes of an awesome song and everything went
Of course that my Logitech mouse went Red Bull until it hit the wall. I'm actually surprised it still works like a charm.

Suppose it kind of fits in here, http://promodj.com/ seems like a nice website for discovering new music/artists, if you're into mainly electro (and seeing how electro is the new pop-music that kind of goes without saying). I like this for example.
