I'm not going to do an in depth review, but I'll give you a quick sum up.
Basically, he gets hired to take Christian missionaries into Burma, who summirarily get captured. And it falls to Rambo, the only person who knew where they went, to transport some mercs (and he comes along too of course) to go rescue them. Cue death and explosions.
It's full of blood, guts and gore, but for me, thats what makes it appealing. It's an action movie that doesnt shy away from showing you what a large calibur machine gun would do to a human being. Limbs fly, torsos explode, heads pop. It's realistic violence in an semi-realistic plot.
I've lingered a bit on the violence, but it is a big part of the film. Probably the biggest in fact. Big loud fun.

Re: Rambo
will give it a shot on M-forumz tonight if i have time... as tat was only 7.8% spoiler... if any at all...
I'd give it 8/10. Reminds you of the glut of action movies from the late 80's/early 90's, that were low on plot but high on body count. If you like that sort of thing then it's for you. If you like headshots then it's also for you. No end of cranial explosions.
