Hi,

there's an ice-cream producing company over here producing "Nogger" ice-cream.
Now, while the name certainly is somewhat...unfortunate, seeing the following image convinced me that these people either are huge racists, or just have the most ignorant marketing-team ever.

I remember this coming up about 4 or 5 years ago.

The 88 (not actually called the Nogger 88), was introduced in the 1960's way before neo-nazis adopted HH/88.

Just because one particular movement adopts a symbol doesn't mean changes it's meaning for everyone. Just in the same way that the Swastika has symbolised well-being, good luck for 1000's of years for the majority of the worlds population, and will continue to do so.

So yeah funny for people that are aware of neo-nazi symbolism, but insignificant for everyone else.

Nogger == Nougat.

Okay so that's not true but there have been plenty of products in the past that were racist. Hell, some still are in some ways.
