Thanks for that, we wouldn't want inaccuracies to get in the way of such a factually correct piece.

... however, I have just looked through my notes from the future and found this interesting piece:

"With the meteor strike of 2027, it was clear that the world was not ready for a global sporting event come 2028 and the host city Vancouver for the summer games that year had particular issues with the rising of water levels.

Therefore the IOC, led by president Lord Sebastian Coe met to make a radical amendment to the order of the games following an extraordinary meeting of the board. It was decided that the order of the games should not be altered and that the Summer Games should still be the next Olympics held. The decision was made that the 2028 games be postponed to 2030 to allow for the new host city to be ready. This would therefore alter the order of future games by a two year cycle.

With a hastily made ballot of cities interested in hosting, the board met and voted that the summer games for 2030 would be Helsinki."

Proof that this is a lie, Jacques Rogge will still be in charge of the Olympics then...

Just like he's best mate Sepp, there is no way in hell he'll let go of that job, even when dead!
