Haven't seen it just yet but i don't think it's gonna be 100% faithful to the comics,
Spoiler Alert:
I don't see the TV show killing of everyone in one fell swoop, Lori and the baby will most likely to die but more than that I'm not so sure
I gave up after the start of the second series turned in to a program about a love triangle not Zombies. By chance caught the last couple of episodes of S2 and the Zombies were back, yay!
Never read the comics but all I can say is the first episode of S3 has Zombies!! Lots of Zombies!!
Was pretty obvious love triangles were going to be involved the moment they didn't kill Shane off before leaving the first camp outside the city tbh (comic reader here!).
Still waiting for the second season to arrive at work on DVD.

Erk! - had posted before I read too much spoilertasticness... but saw 'triangles' mentioned... am reading no more!
The writing isn't great (as .dot said and I wouldnt argue or i'd end up in a cellar) but they've used the stepping stones of things like Day of the Dead etc to their advantage...
Am looking forward to catching up with it after playing Deadlight though!

I'm still enjoying it. Gotta really hate Murl though.
I'm really curious to see how they're gonna play of the first meet between the guvnor and Rick, Michonne has already left wood-bury so she can't be getting 'assaulted' by the guv, i don't see rick getting his hand cut off in the show either and I can't see the guvnor being 'mutilated'. I was also very surprised to see that dead people on the phone is already in the show, i guess it makes sense to introduce it now but i just wasn't expecting it just yet
In related news, the walking dead game ... i finished the last chapter yesterday. It hits you hard I'll say that much.
