This is goin to be a long one, mainly for those of you who were on mumble when I said something rather "unsettling".

I told I had named a character something rasist in WoW once.
But I did not explain myself as a got a call and barely managed to play the MvsM game I was playing at the time. Therefore I forgot to explain it later. For which I am sorry.
As I understood on Telgor I had indeed offended some of you.
When I was told by Telgor I had forgotten that I had not explained. I was sorry but at that time I thought you to be a bunch of ladies which I am also sorry for(this was only because I thought I had explained myself already).

Now for the explanation:
That night back in December 2006 when I made a new character in WoW while under the influence of alcohol.
I had visited my older brother to celebrate christmas as we danes do best with lots of beer. An in our good humored spirit and in the memory of traditions we got on the subject of "the good old days". When we were kids and careless.
We laughed a lot as we remembered things like: me accidently saying "my dagger(danish word for dagger also used about a mans you know what) is in the butter", or the time when a wasp mistook my(beforementioned manlyhood) for a piece of ham.
But there was one time in particular I found amusing that night. It was a summer day our parents were visiting some friends. My brother and I was told to entertain ourselves in the garden. We quickly found some sticks and started "shooting" after each other. When we later found the Large Black Hogs in the back or the garden we "shot" them. We were yelling "dø sorte svin" at it which is translated to "die black pig". The neighbour of couse was very offended by these loud "rasist" shouts. When my father came out to see what we were doing the neighbour told my father that he did not expect that kind of behavior from my fathers children(my father is a wellknown socialist in my local community). My father asked the man what ever did he mean and the man told him about the shouts; which had been offencive but totally harmless really.

Well I went home after heavy drinking and I thought it to be a great idea to play a little WoW before I went to sleep. Well to make an already long stroy a bit shorter. This was when I had the "brilliant" idea of naming my character exactly what we had yelled as small children...

Again I am really sorry about offending those I did offend and I am sorry I forgot to explain why I was such a fool. And I hope if I ever again say something inappropriate again or just something where any of you are in doubt you will tell me straight away. I'm a reasonable guy and no rasist.

Anyway, I had a wow char called Skagface, doesn't make me a heroin addict, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Just to clarify a bit more. I wasn't on mumble when this took place, I only found out when a couple of people didn't want Megaston in the channel for making a racist comment the last time he was there.

Was a stupid thing to say mate but that said, you've been man enough to come on here to explain yourself and apologise publicly and although I can't speak for anyone else, as far as I'm concerned there are no hard feelings.

Thank God I didn't, it actually bit me. Trying to take meat home to the hive I figure. Yes Wasps eat meat as they also prey on other insects.
We had been watchin' a wasp use its jaws to cut pieces of ham off and fly off with the pieces.
When suddenly a wild "beedrill" appears between my legs. Still very painfull...

While I was not there I do not see the point of denying someone access to a mumble channel for what seems to be a single racist comment. Seems very childish and shallow minded.

I agree with iRPAx (goddamn that name is hard to get right ), I think a warning should have sufficed on a first offence.

This might sound kinda rude but you shouldnt really comment on things you dont know the full truth about. I'm not claiming that I know what exactly happened, but after talking about it in mumble for quite long it really wasnt that big of a deal.

He was a man and apologized and explained the situation, and hope there is no hard feelings left to anyone.
