Chops. Then maybe a giraffe afterwards.
Followed by a victoria sponge created by own hands (paws). Only my second ever attempt, I've applied an Instagram filter to make it MORE INTERESTING THAN IT ACTUALLY IS (Instagram rant over with now).
Next in my adventures in baking series will either be a lemon or coffee and walnut cake, not sure which. Either way, I'm a man in dire need of a doily and a cake stand at the moment.
Hopefully I'll be entering the local Women's Institute competitive baking contest, so wish me luck - I'm up against Ethel Chambers and her highly regarded (and lethal) raspberry and mascarpone cream cake.

You should make a real mans meal of a Hearty steak and kidney pie (definately no brains), rather than yer girly cake!

I'm insulted. And so is Ethel Chambers.
Baking is an art form for those with a delicate touch, apart from Ethel who's built like a brick sh*thouse. We all have a feminine side - tap into it and bake.
I'll be cooking a beef casserole later to regain my manliness, after watching the rugby and wrestling next door's german shepherd.

Uh oh - Ethel is conducting opponent subterfuge in order to become victorious and has been tempting me with her tasty morsels....I must resist.
Sausage, Mash and Peas. Topped with gravy and ground black pepper. Scrumptious!
