ugh... I don't know !! There's so many that I really like!!!! I grew up with "Dukes of Hazzard", "Cagney & Lacey", both of which I loved, as well as "MacGyver" (loved the resourcefulness of the guy!!)! Then "Star Trek", "Thundercats", "La Femme Nikita" and "Buck Rogers".
Strong favourites from more recent series are: "ALIAS", "Dark Angel", "Homeland", "Rizzoli & Isles", "Dexter", "Suburgatory", "IT Crowd" and "Arrow".
If I had to choose, I'd go for "Cagney & Lacey" hands down though. Great scripts, lots of drama and action, meaningful social commentary. It was the first feminist series to rise amid the testosterone laden tv landscape and subject matter is still very much current. I hope they release this series on DVD at some point!!!

Don't really have an all time favourite, but I'll follow Freddie with Stargate (though I've only seen the first series of Atlantis, and Universe was terrible IMO), Star Trek and Farscape.
Space Precinct was also awesome. As well as Captain Scarlet.
Only fools, black adder, bottom, young ones etc thought I'd rep some British classics!

X-men, Spider-man, Samurai jack, ren and stimpy. Yea i like cartoons and the other classic series that have already been mentioned. Including Sopranos, band of brothers, only fools and black adder. I also enjoy some of the newer English comedy's like the it crowd and the mighty boosh
