Post Re: Our avatars and what they mean.
Made for a group ski trip to Bad Gastein, Austria in 2006, my avatar was printed onto the back of "tour" polo shirts, to be worn out each evening once dinner was safely out the way and the alcohol was flowing.

It's a shooped version of the Stroh 80 advert, one that turned out to be liberally located around the resort and in English, suggesting that it was only foreigners stupid enough to buy and drink the stuff.

Cheese and Stroh featured heavily on the tour. If any of you ever do shots of it, make sure photos of your "Stroh face" end up here.

Mine is pretty self explanatory.

This is my gator. There are many like it but this is mine. My gator is my best friend.

It's a llama. With a hat. Because llamas are awesome and so are hats. Kinda goes with the nick ... or vice versa. Source of the Picture itself are the Llamas with Hats videos.

Bloody hell. People are drinking that? Last I checked general opinion was Stroh is used in cakes and other sweetstuff but not ... you know, for drinking.

Well, mine is one taken from a small comic made by an artist I like named Weaver (Creator of Ruby Quest, a Lovecraftian horror "Quest" story starring Animal Crossing characters).

Here's the image my avatar is taken from.

Have some reasons as to why I love this artist:

Yes, in fact the label on a bottle of 80 says it's best used for coffee, cakes and desserts. And trust me, drinking it isn't fun. Watching someone drink it, on the other hand... hilarious
