Glad to see you're wfh..

The crane driver was apparently late for work today. That probably saved his life.

The rest of the workers on the construction site were in a safety meeting, and that probably saved a bunch of them too.

It was very lucky that it was not worse, you've got the main trainlines into Waterloo, Vauxhall bus station and Wandworth Road is packed with traffic as well all in that area.

That crane driver is the luckiest man in London today.

Yeah, I don't travel through that bit of London, and looking at the pictures it looks like it should be a busy area. Lots of very lucky people today..

Including the couple of commuters who had to run for their lives as the chopper came down and would have landed on them had they not legged it. As you might expect, they're now at home in shock.

So lucky.

I often park my car around the corner of 9 elm lane when i go to watch Chelsea, I walk past that crane on the way to Vauxhall tube station and even on Sundays it's a fairly busy area, for a crash like this to happen in rush hour and not claim more lives is a miracle.

We'll be meeting you in the next round of the FA cup Freddie, may I be the first to welcome you to Griffin Park. And please play Torres to give us a chance. :D

Close shave there H - glad to see you weren't caught up in it, but how anybody else wasn't killed at that time of the morning and in such a densely populated area is absolutely incredible.

How's that crane looking?
