Is this the one that finally works online? And whats the quality of the FMV's? Despite EA having the high res original movies, they still just dumped a straight port of the originals on TFD.
The playstation version's updated resolutions were better than those.

The original C & C (gold edition) is up for download too:

http://ccgold.ea.com/uk/

or this one has links for both discs individually:

http://www.shacknews.com/onearticle.x/48749

The link has changed from the one i used ages ago-so cant confirm it works or not. then again when i did try and install this and red alert last year I spazzed it all up and never got it to work.

Both were awesome games!

Edit: speaking of freebie oldschool games-GTA1 & 2 have been up for download:

http://www.rockstargames.com/classics/

They dont have quite the same impact anymore though!
