Agree with the hunter advice but with one addition, be aware of where the fire sources are and when would be a good time to set yourself on-fire through a molatov while pouncing. Pouncing while on-fire massively increases the pounced damage swipes, it takes around 3-4 seconds to incap a full health survivor this way. Fire doesn't on the other hand add anything to the right click attack.

So if there is fire near and you have a chance for a quick 2-3 hit fire pounce go for it, otherwise freddie's general advice is golden. :)

Oh and practise wall-jumping for distraction and getting around melee spammers, just pounce as normal and when you get close to the wall look away with your mouse and hit pounce again. All while holding crouch the whole time.

The one downside other than losing health of being on-fire though is the hunter loses the ability to wall-jump. So don't use the fire pounce against tight clustered melee spammers unless you have a clear line of attack, as you will get white-screen-stun-locked bashed to death. :(

If people are camping the kitchen in the finale of blood harvest and are near the windows, whack them as a hunter from outside, then retreat and go to the other window.

It's a new tactic that I have adopted, means you can shoot at the floor when you are all on the cupboards without FF. Just now we took a tank down in this position with four autoshotties and one survivor took half damage. Also yeah avoid the windows lol, first thing I told the guys tonight after Jman used it so successfully against the person in the window last night :)

Yeah, the tank is very easy to take our inside with 4 autoshotties. I knew what you were up to that time, too bad our boomer didn't quite make it at the right time. Got 3 or 4 hits on ya though ;) I've seen the tank go down that way with only one hit on the survivors with no real chances, soo... balance, I say!

When using either shotgun, i have noticed that when you run out of shots and need to reload, hit the reload button then spam the melee button, therefore you are still reloading, but are keeping any zombies away from you.

Also while using the standard shotgun during a horde attack, it is possible to shoot, then melee, shoot then melee, by the time you have finished meleeing, you have pumped another shell into the barrel, this is a very good way of keeping zombies out of reach and gives you a second to line up a good shot.

When playing smoker, do your absolute best to pull survivors off edges, as the fall damage is massive. Was playing No Mercy the other night with NTrailz, Jesus and a few others, and at the top of the ladder on the finale there is many places where this is possible, i managed to get Bomaster down to 10 health from full in about 3 seconds, once the hunters have pounced the first 2 up the ladder, pull the 3rd from the roof with the radar dish and u'll get huuuge damage.

Also as boomer it is often a good idea to puke on downed survivors, as it is near impossible for them to defend themselves and they drop very quickly. Always spawn ahead and ambush them at corners and if possible, wait for other infected to spawn as to create maximum mayhem.

As with the kichen camping, if u get spawned as tank, as with the hunter it is possible to hit through the windows, this often unnerves them, sometimes making one run out of the room slightly, giving you a perfect opportunity to smoke or pounce them causing the rest of the team to save them and giving the tank a better opportunity to do some damage.

And that's all i can think of atm, please feel free to rip me if you think these tactics are awful :P :P :P

I personal think its kinda sad camping inside a cupboard for the finale takes out some of the intense moments where you get swampt etc
Also the pounce attack claw damage seems to e random from looknig at the amount of damaged done as i get odd amounts of damge like 26 which isnt a multiple of 5 :P

While I totally agree with you Ares, who is talking about camping in a cupboard? :?

The kitchen isn't a cupboard lol it's an open space downstairs in the house where you jump onto the kitchen cabinets. There are still 3 doors and 3 windows into that area, so no it isn't sad at all. :P

yeh id say the kitchen is def the best place to hold up, as long as you all have shotties, i dont thing it would work too well with m4's and rifle's so make sure you properly equipped b4 hand.

i want to know the best tactic for when a team m8 gets pulled off the ledge at the petrol station stage on no mercy. it sounds a bit harsh but i think the best thing to do for the teams sake is to just leave him. if 1 person jumps down its often not enough to deal with the horde. if all of you jump down your back to square 1 and face the same thing the next time round. Any thoughts?
