It looks like the only versus maps in the preload are farm and hospital.


Valve has stated that not all the maps are considered 'suitable' for Versus mode. Don't ask me what makes a 'suitable' map different, so we'll have to see.

Well the campings are the following

Hospital (No Mercy)
Farmland (Blood Harvest)
Green House /city streets/ airport ( Dead Air)
Rural area/small village/ boat (Death toll)

so maybe they will modify some levels like they did in Hl2 to make them playble

Hmmm i was looking forward to versuses as well im not sure how they can say 20 levels though when its only 10 unless they meant in the whole game, at any rate its still a good 1 hours worth for the 1st 2 parts of the map so im sure it will be alteast 2 and half - 3 hours for the other parts which will be harder

They are marketing each chapter almost as a seperate horror 'film'... hence the posters with your names when you boot up....

kinda nice touch.

They also have the cheesy tag lines. my favorite being

"Dead Air" Their flight was delayed, Permanently"
