L4D ambiguous OUTBREAK achievement?
Hi guys, I was looking through the achievements list today and I noticed this one:
OUTBREAK Catch a rare strain of infection, then pass it on to someone else.
'What could this mean' I thought, all the survivors are supposed to be immune to infection right? So did some google searches and came across some discussion about it
Someone reckons 'Basically, they release a few people with the 'virus'. When someone plays a game with them, they get the virus, and so on and so on.'
hmmm sounds interesting, seems I already have that achievement so must have been infected sometime over the weekend. Any thoughts?

Yeah... It's connected to the boomer somehow. I did wonder about this as well though.

I reckon its probably just a bit of fun at valve, to see how quickly it spreads throughout the community or something...You know those programming types...crazy

I think if you play with someone that has played with someone that has played with someone ...etc... thats has played with a valve dev, it gives you the cheeve when you get vomited on ingame. Something like that.
Heres the deal, Valve staff all started out with the virus to begin with, who ever they kill, explode vomit on gets given the virus as aswell, who ever that person Kills, explodes or vomits on will be passed the virus aswell, this will go on untill everyone has it.
I was going to see how long it would take before i got it but bedizen exploded on me and i got in a day into my playtime.
