Nice tips. I hadn't realised that you could use the logs like cars :s

Did you know that the tank can bust down the saferoom door in some instances? We were playing coop before and got a tank at the start of the stage. We decided to go back into the saferoom and shut the door thinking we could shoot him through it. 2 seconds later, the door gets busted in by a rock thrown by the tank.

I haven't had a chance to test this in versus but I presume it works...

Ah very cool, Im guessing that it can happen once you knock the supporting bar off the saferoom door and leave?

Because I've had a few times where the other team spawned a tank immediately and you could sit there quite safe as long as you stay the hell away from the door.

New one to add. There are hittable round hay bails on BloodHarvest. BH5 is the only place I have seen them so far though, and the biggest concentration is at the side of the big barn the apc stops at. It does seem to me that the hittable objects have a rough weight system though, as I found them (the hay bails) the hardest object to aim, and they rebound/fly up in the air, more than the others.

Something useful to add to this ;)

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/s ... p?t=770786

Play as infected in singleplayer, including tank. So now everyone can practise to their hearts content. :)

Note: if you don't want to create a cfg like this guy says to you can just do it all manually. So start a singleplayer game, open the console, type these in separately pressing enter after each one;

sv_cheats 1
director_no_human_zombies 0
sb_all_bot_team 1

Close console. Press M to change to infected.

Open console again and enter;

z_spawn tank

And that's it for the most simplest tank praccy. Although changing to the proper versus maps is a good thing to add to this also, this is the command for NM1 for example;

changelevel l4d_vs_hospital01_apartment

Have fun. :D

Yeah that's pretty much what I use to practice wall-jumping as a hunter in single player, however when I do that I also tend to freeze the bots with nb_stop 1 so I don't get shot at while I'm trying to reach the higher places for the first time.
