That's what I'm saying, I'm pretty sure you don't need to forward (i.e. inbound from the internet to the PC) any ports to play Steam games. All sessions are created by the client to the server, so providing the Home Hub is allowing the relevant outbound ports (which they normally do by default) it should work.

After reading the thread linked by StNick though, I'd say call BT and get a newer home hub if you can.

MJ, April 21st is for XBOX only I think.

EAsy way to check is to jsut open all ports and see if it works then if do find out which ones need to be open

I read the press release you linked to.

It makes no reference to a PC release date, only XBox.

"Xbox 360 users will see these same gameplay changes in an update coming out with the DLC — which, in case you missed the announcement, will be coming out April 21st."

Maybe it's just the way it's worded but I've not seen any reference to the PC version release date.

Doubt I'd get a new one for free though. My warranty probably expired months ago.

It would be strange of Valve to release the PC DLC later since they are a main PC developer. Though all of the Survival Mode videos I have seen are all on the Xbox version.

i'm a bit late on this. but you can forward ports on the home hub.

go to advanced options
username: admin
password: the serial number found on the back of your hub
and go to application sharing, it can all be done there, steam games is one of the presets so just assign it to your pc

Well l4d was primarily a 360 game from what i can tell with the terrible match making system and such they had to have for console version as all console gamers are tards
