Heres Wisty's quick review based on material revealed so far
Characters :
Lad wins coz nothing beats Loius scremaing GREAAEBN PEELZ!! OR Francis ' I hate ...' Or Bill being a badass Lad2 looses coz all they got is a redneck2 demomen one big one small with no bombs and scarface wanna be.
Weapons :
Depends what you looking for. If its efficiency you want then l4d wins since all the bases are covered and you feel that anythings missing. If you feel a little lavish and crave flair and variety rather than efficiency than lad2 is for you
Atmosphere :
So far l4d wins since nothing beats the crazy night time feel of the infested towns and the dooming darkness of the city/woods Sunlight in new orleans during mardi gras. Gay
Zombies:
Well they only told us of the charger and the hazmat which are welcome additions plus the witch walks around in daylight now so i think lad2 wins here
Ai director: Knowing valve the more ASSPIErations they have the more they fucks things up. So i guess the director having more freedom means there is more room for it to go snafu
They missed out other 2 unanounced zombies and the 4 other normal zombies one for each level, i think the new dynamic of l4d2 will be good rather than corner camping like you do in l4d, and the swamp level could be ace if they do it right

The story was written up before it was confirmed that L4D 2 was gonna be shown at Comic-Con.
why did they have to do a side by side comparison, couldnt they just have said "its got everything l4d has plus this", were they expecting it to have LESS of some things than l4d1
