Re: Crash Course L4D
yeah any new content is good new content. I think chance to play a full versus match in 30 minutes will draw some more people in, as weve played some in the WP league that lasted just over 2 hours!

Yah, thats one of the main things which turns me off L4D. Most versus games last an hour, and like you say some go on much longer. 30 minutes sounds good!

"As if this wasn't a big enough slap in the face to the community, the reveal to the new Special Infected known as the Spitter is, yet again, a direct-from-the-community idea that Valve has put in for L4D2. The biggest kicker to it? It's from one of the co-creators of the L4D2 boycott group."
I mean, ok they put their ideas up on steamforums, but for valve to take their ideas without a single mention with the intention of using them as selling points for a new game does seem kinda rich too me.
Has anyone read the disclaimer on the steam forums recently? I can't be bothered to look myself but you might find that there is something to the effect of 'we can use ideas generated in these forums blah, blah, blah...'. Might not be, I have no idea.
On the other hand, in the sheer wall of crap threads, complaints and random ill-thought out ideas that appear on said forums, it wouldn't suprise me if more than one person had the same idea, or a similar one. Unless someone is willing to trawl through a huge number of moronic posts to find the few good ideas it would prove difficult to give proper credit.
