Re: L4D2 Servers
There was a patch released and the servers wern't updated. So no one could join, the webadmin buttons wern't present for me to rectify this. And I've not been on/around too much due to feeling bad.
Good enough?
Also people seem to have forgotten using openserverbrowser it seems and just do pub lobbies for some reason. Don't ask me. Path of least resistance and all that, I put it down to.

Re: L4D2 Servers
Yeah I really like the pace change from TF2.
TF2 is just pure chaos on times hehe which is why it's fun. But it can become a bit much after a while.
In L4D a player/team has to be smooth and controlled to be successful. There is also less enforced randomness in encounters and player abilties which I also really like over TF2's 'crits so everyone can stand a chance' approach. Things like hard class counters also apply here too, I think, as it gives another mechanic for anyone to kill anyone else with ease, and is often the cause of much frustration.
Totally chalk and cheese to me even though they are both fps's, mad that.
I predict some great scavenger games on our servers, as that looks like a blast and more suited to play in our kind of online environment than versus games. Quicker games, meaning we can more effectively cycle through a larger ammount of interested players etc.
