I'm getting the freezes too, people are banding about turning off multicore rendering and vsync as solutions. I do the latter by default anyway and turning off MCR only seemed to lesson the stutters not totally fix them. So yer many in same boat, here's hoping this doesn't make it to launch. Kinda crap facing down a horde on expert only for it to stutter and by the time it recovers you are on the floor :f |

Turning off multicore rendering AA AF vsync has fixed it for me except liek ocne every round |

Finally got the chance to give this a go today, and I'm loving it. I think the new damage models are excellent, and the way the AI Special Ifexted work together more is great. I especially like the way that lower ammo capacity makes you relly on using pistols or melee more, and swap weapons out regularly. Also, performance for me is actually better than in the original, which is nice. |

Ares sounds like you need to play with graphics drivers. Can confirm 186.18 and 191.07 working fine for me on 8600gts, 8800gt and 260gtx single/sli. 190.62 crashed on the pc upstairs (8600gts) with repeating audio and frozen screen. Updated to 191.07 problem solved. Increasing your frame pre-render limit in nvidia control panel can sometimes help with stuttering but may make keyboard and mouse input feel laggy. |
