So guys it been out a couple days now, what do you guys honestly think of it?, its just going to be another few hrs blast and then bored and £30 down the drain or does it have staying power?
I ask because a friend has offered to buy it for me, (early xmas prezzie the loney git) but i don't want to have yet another game thats fun for a few days and then left at the bottom of my games list never to see light of day again *cough* borderlands *cough*

Well the campaigns are great, weapons have variety aside from melee ones, scavenge mode is very good too, versus from what i played didnt seem to well suited map design wise but i only played Dead Centre probably the worst map so ...
The overall atmosphere has improved with campaigns like Heavy rain etc and scavenge i imagine will have a fair bit of logevitity and then versus on top of that.
Aslong as you dont get really easily bored then you should get more than 3 days out of it, at least a week
I had no desire what so ever to play it again after complete its very dull monsters again.

Want to try that again in English?
I personally think it's well worth €30. Its better than the 1st one in pretty much every department. Level design, weapon variety, weapon mods, game narrative, more campaigns, more game modes, different kinds of crescendo events, more dynamic gameplay..... I could go on.
I think the replayability will be much greater than the 1st one too due to all this and also due to the high likelyhood that valve will release lots of extra content down the line.
That said, I also thought L4D was pretty good value for money, after getting a good couple of months' fun out of versus mode. I also thought Borderlands was a great game too (if a little short and a little easy). So you might want to totally disregard my opinion.
