Having major problems here tonight.

Restarted my PC L4D2 wouldn't launch kept saying steam servers too busy. Friends list is off line also. Defragged my cache files and did that otehr thing too but it has totally slipped my mind on what it's called but it said 1 file currupt and will be redownloaded.

It took ages for this one file to download but still no l4d2 and no firends list.

So i uninstalled everything including steam. Now once i redownloaded steam and log back in guess what......NO GAMES. All my paid for games are GONE.

Gone where ? I have no idea but i would like to find them. L4D, L4D2, Killing Floor, TF2, they are all MIA

Any thoughts on my problems ??

Check your steam folder first.

nothing there m8. Deleted everything and started fresh. I logged into the steam store and checked my account and they still showing there

just uninstalled and reinstalled and still no games. So how am i suppose to download them if they arent there ?

and when i try to restore from the backup nothing...i click restore left4dead to start the process and the whole thing just disappears

just did a fresh format of windows 7 hoping that will cure the problem but steam still showing that i do not own any games and my account is still in good standing......out of ideas now. i have also posted on the steam forums but no one has yet to reply and also submitted a ticket with steam

hopefully someone will sort this out SOON

sorted.....router was blocking steam ports...back online now and downloading my games woohoo
