Hello all,

been talking to a chap that has been on HH servers a while (LSM - Pyromaniac) and he reckons it may be a laugh to do a 6vs6 match at around 21:00 (GMT) tomorrow.

Now, I know I am assuming a lot (That we COULD host? COULD get the numbers?) but I thought if you don't ask you don't get eh?

I am happy to make the time for a laugh. Only need 5 more then I guess?

Anyone fancy it? or am I WAAAAY out of line even suggesting it?

Either way, seems we are getting a decent amount of interest in this sort of thing.

I'll be around from about 5pm tomorrow and I'll pick this thread up again - fingers crossed!

We need to know which maps in advance really as we'll get mullered if we don't have a vaguely planned defence...

I don't think its something that we should take too seriously, but if there are people around that fancy a taste of this it can only help us improve surely?

I know I haven't a clue, but would find this quite beneficial.

Maybe we could put it back a week and thus have a bit of time to plan.

Anyway, I have set the ball rolling here and maybe one of the mods/admins/clanns can take it up? I certainly don't want to say 'Yeah, HH going feck yo asses' only to turn up like a bunch of half blind paraplegics...

well getting a proper match orginised in 2 days is basically impossible. All we can really say is if they wanna come on to our servers then sure, any HH members and regs that are on im sure would be up for a bit of a scrap. but i dont think we can close down the server on such short notice (took us 2 weeks to prepare for last sunday), especially for such small numbers. On the other hand i have 2 suggestions: we have the smaller server lurking about so if thats kinda empty you can pile in there and any HH member can stack the teams to move people to suitable teams. Or if they dont mind playing with randomers on their team, just get them on the pub server, pm an admin via steam community thing or using the @ command (if when you chat you put @ infront of what you say including the space, then i understand only admins can see it) and then they can put them all on one team.

OK, Reckon I should postpone until a more appropriate date?

I'll keep in contact though as in time I think this sort of thing would be a laugh.

Well leave it up to them mate. Tell them we will turn up with players (not ecessarily only H|H), but will be distinctly lacking in organisation. If they want a kick about thats no problem but I really NEED to know what maps they want to play as we'll have to come up with tactics tonight before we play. I think they said they wanted practice for a match they have in a day or two, so we're happy to play what ever they like (its all the same to us, we have no tactics for anything yet ).
