As a LoL player I find this very offensive.

And where is this "pay to win" thing. The closest to "pay to win" you get is IP/EXP boost.

Winning that category wasn't really hard you know. Here's a list of what games they "won" with a popularity vote they heavily encouraged players to participate in, as MeGaston said.

Yup, hard beating a few expansion packs etc, and Farmville players don't really know about these things, do they? Surprised to see APB didn't make it, too. On a side note, Sims 3 was a runner up for Strategy game of the year (Plants vs Zombies won).

Simply put: It sucked and Realtime Worlds ended up with like 100 million $ dept and went bankrupt.

That's kinda my point. It won a bunch of games no one cares about. Not much to celebrate.
