Heh, cheers for that. It's the first proper scout battle I've been in TBH, quite an eye opener. It just served to remind me that I have sooo much left to learn, starting with how to bloody well shoot straight!
Still the revenge was sweet when it eventually came! lol

Re: Regs vs Clanners 7vs7 8pm sunday 20/04/08
That was great, I think we should do the highlander thing more often. There seems to be a hell of a lot of strategy too it, I think the teams were quite even, but the clanners were really focused and organised and that seemed to tip the scales. Great fun playing with you all.
I agree, and I think a nice side-effect of playing Highlander is that it makes you start to really think about team play, which I think has got to be a benefit whether you're playing 7v7, Highlander or a 12 v 12 free for all.

Ha, i got to play in the end! That was erm, interesting, i need to play more as a none medic on the pub svrs. Very interesting playing against a structured team with good comms as well, and having played with and against the clanners i think i might have picked up a few tips.
Appologies for the sudden disapearance, i had a feeling the internet was breaking but couldn't stop it something to do with a) using a wireless connection b) using Vista c) someone else using the same connection!
All in all a great experience, apart from Patch who stalks people and kills them inclusive of me
enjoyed my time, but was a bit disappointed, guess i expected too much Nevertheless, it was nice to see how coordinated everything was (and to chop 47 to little pieces with my machete! ) At least, I tasted again the warm feeling a headshot gives you, especially if you make 3 or 4 in a row... The sniper, the God from behind the front lines ^^
Learned a lot, hope you clanners did also (at least a bit )
PS: wait till I get my new graphics card and memory, when i'll have a decent fps rate, my old call of duty aiming skill will come back... This will be hard times for you
I had loads of fun and I got to practice the Sniper a little bit, can't say I didn't like killing everything from afar.
The teamwork was outstanding, and I can't wait to do this again some time soon.
The funniest moment for me was probably when Mr. Sam found me in the A > C tunnel asa Heavy and started shooting at me, and I repeatedly shot him in the head while Ares healed me, then finishing him off with my tiny machine gun <3 And the fact that it was Sam made it much more fun!
