Only watched the Goldrush vid so far, but it's quality. It's really interesting to see the game you've just played, play out again from the 3rd person perspective. Seeing what I was doing when the opposition were doing something different to what I thought etc.

It also makes me realise just how much positioning is key as well.

Some really good commentary from Ares and the team too once they got warmed up. I hope it's possible to remove the team voices from the recording.

Cheers to everyone tonight, teammates, opponents and clanners, I really enjoyed that.

I agree with furies on all points.

It was good jack and Ares to be taking the commentary seriously, from what I could hear it was proper commentary on the game. Hopefully this is what we can expect for the HHCup...

Hear hear.. just watched it..

If we'd us third party comms like vent ts or mumble it wouldn't register in tf2 so that wouldn't be an issue (had quite a hard time filtering ares'ses difficult accent out of the vp blubber.

Liked the commentary tho did'nt find it quite a harsh as I thought..

Most diifficult for us was no voip on one of us and ntrailz being on the other team, will fix that next time tho

Thanks for playing all. Some even made special measures as they wheren't aware of the date change... ty all and cya next time !

And you lot blame Ntrailz for you loss, red medics did a great job with their uber timings i rmember a very good double uber from Daniel and i remember Kbramman doing very well as demo as well, then there was soem good nading from 3f, no sniping by either team whci was strange and you both ran a scout on GR :? when i thought a extra dmeo to lock it down more or a sniepr would be better

Twas pretty fun all in all, even though we went downhill after Sam left and Granary was more of a steamroll. The enemy team really did a fantastic job in keeping us at bay. NTrailz protected the Medic and gave us no chance to push back, the Medics themselves were constantly healing and the rest of the team gave us trouble in general. So congratulations to the A-Team, very well played.

Although that doesn't mean we didn't have our moments. The last part of defending Goldrush was pretty neat and we almost managed to get back from the last point on Granary once.

Also, apologies to my team for leaving so abruptly, but my parents were telling me rather unambiguous that I should finally turn off the computer and go to bed. ;)

Going to watch the commentary now. I just hope it mentions how uber-freakin-awesome I was. :D

Thing is, if we do that we cant tell easily whos talking, so when a solly is telling me hes out of ammo i might think its the heavy im healing or something, could be proper confusing in the middle of battle.

Also, ingame voip is tweaked nicely so you can hear no matter what and if you cant its a simple esc-> options -> change volume, ts is not so easily tweaked since you have to minimise and theres a possibility of game crash following that......

Extra.. we are talking bout the HH cup you'll be playing with the same tema regularly. It's true sometimse it's hard to hear who's talking but that is really only an issue when 2 are talking at the same time.

Furthermore using team chat you cannot comm during respawn... and if using in game chat the hillarious commentary will drown in a puddle of voice-mud.

It's really not that hard to set up voice comms via ts or vent and these programs are easily customised using key-binds to get u in the right channel.

We need maybe a noob guide to set up basic voice ip but the gain is tremendous imho...
