I have a far-fetched idea right now thats sounds awesome but might require a bit too much management. My HH cup team needs practice and some others might, is there an odd chance of geting some teams together on a given wednesday to practice sum ????

Great idea Aka, there's definitely a will in LuBe to get some practice games in! I think it would be great if we could have some pre-tournament 'friendlies'

I dont know why you lot like Goldrush Its DB with a cart which means its spammy imbalanced and crap for half the classes.
Proper maps pro_granary, Badlands, cp_well, 2fort, turbine and Mach 4. And occasionally Gravel pit aint to bad.
Mach4 is just like all ctf maps and under ground way or a top way, just liek 2fort but smaller.

Goldrush is okay, but gets boring if its on all the time.

Thankfully we didn't play it yesterday, played some 2Fort and, erm, granery I think...

Okay, sounds good, so the idea for next week we have a load of regs vs one of the teams for the HH cup, or if people are organised enough: two of the teams, If appropriate i can put all the teams names through a randomiser and pick out one from the teams names out of a hat. (obv i would only do this for the teams that are interested, and available)

Last night also pointed out two important things:

1) i think we should set a maximum ping, sorry cris but we got a fair few of complaints that you were being far too laggy with a ping of 300 and from what i can see that was the case, i know it makes it a bit more difficult for you as well, but please go on the server beforehand and test your ping if you think there are gonna be problems.

2) If you cant stay the course, and your gonna have to bugger off half way through and thats a ceartainty, or your going to be inconsistently AFK and/or coming and going (looking at you, scythe), please dont volunteer as a full player, if you must: volunteer as a reserve. Fair enough that you probably didnt know about your thing till the last minute scythe, but it isnt really fair on the rest of us if the team number are constantly in flux since we have to stop what were doing, reoorganise the teams and hope that someone else can join and play.

3) If your over half an hour late, please dont just join the game and expect to play, definately dont join the game then say nothing and just start playing, it messes up the whole round particularly if its going suddenly from 6 v 6 to 6 v 7, if you want to turn up late message akazash/me or one of the other players and we will see what we can do.
