Maybe we should ask that people sort out Teamspeak as a condition of joining as well. I'd say just not bother with it myself as the in game is fine voice is fine for me ....but others seem to like it.
It just gets confusing when some are using teamspeak and others are using the in game voice. I took the trouble to sort it out (dispite not wanting it) and they should too in my humble opinion. {FT}

Agreed, we should make it mandatory, especially since ive found out that team speak overlay works with vista if you run it in compatability.

And maybe when running the match on a server could we stick "Team Speak Neccesary" in the title, so people joining will know, since we were using ts fine until more people came along...

I agree with all the above. It does seem that some of signups take the regs match as just an extension of the pub servers with a fixed roster of players.

I personally see these games as a stepping stone to playing in organised tournaments (or the next best thing to that), with proper team structure and organisation, and so it really winds me up when players are dropping out, or asking to play different maps / classes when we've all organised the thing in advance.

I'd just like to stand in defense of one Mr Isaac Cox in the not having TS, he was asked to join the game as it had gotten to 8.40 ish and we were still 3 players down.

But the others should have known to have TS ready for use, and I think most of the rest of team 2 did.

Agree with Extra about the ping issue and the jumping in and out and the game.

Surprised that high ping limits haven't been set on any of the servers, high pings from others can really lag out the servers for everyone else.

I used TS in the beginning but switched to the ingame voice afterwards, simply because so everyone on our team could understand what I was saying. I agree though, it would be good if we were all using the same way of communication.

Other than that, I truly enjoyed last night, especially considering that we probably had the most balanced teams ever in a RegvReg match. The score also reflected that; 4:3 on Granary and 6:5 on 2fort. And, of course, Extra did a very nice job organizing everything.

Heh, I accidentally switched to ingame voice while alltalk was on.

But I agree, the teams were really well balanced. Kudos to Extra Cold for the organization and Akasazh for the team lineups.

I had played heavy for about 2 hours before the match and, to be honest, expected to do much worse than I did. Then again, we had an awesome medic :D.

What is Teamspeak overlay exactly, is it a separate application I have to download? Also, will it be compatible with 64-bit Vista?
