Let me be the first to say, it was a very entertaining evening. I didn't really care all that much for Well, as it is my least favourite map, but there were still some great moments on it. Avoiding the entire enemy team and getting the intel out of their base as a Scout only to be rolled over by the train. Or planting a set of stickies, then forgetting about them and detonating them on accident only to kill three people.
I had a blast on Steel. The map is good and there some very intensive fights, especially at the A and B point. Though I was a bit surprised that we only played three rounds instead of four, seeing as the Red team still would have had to attack once more. Nevertheless, it was awesome.
There's not much I can say about the teams except that they were very balanced. We drew on Well and played on pretty much the same level on Steel. Thanks to Sergeant for organizing this lady's night. I'm looking forward to next week.

Re: TERRIBLE NEWS! - Ladies Night 27/8 STOLEN!!!
yeah, very good fun tonight, seeing mj_healy sneak past a heavy, demo and medic, and then take the intel all the way was brilliant, I don't know how they didn't see you!!
but the highlight for me has to be my computer and connection lasting a whole match with no problems whatsoever.
I had a great evening. I'm really please with how it went on the whole.
I recognise however that Arena + Match config does not work very well. If I organise another Ladies Night I'll not do that again. Didn't work, ah well.
I was a little surprised at the map choices in the end. I remember Steel not being massively popular when it first came out on our servers, just as it was coming out of Beta, but that's what y'all voted for and I've always thought it was a good map.
Well was...well, randomly chosen from all your votes for it as you signed up. I think the selection was fair, but decidedly random rather than relying on popular vote - made for an interesting change to the norm imo.
For those that were wondering... the official score seems to have been an extremely narrow (like really narrow) victory by RED. So close it was judged by Ares who was speccing the whole match.
It looks like the A-Team narrowly escapes once again from the forces of Colonel Decker, possibly aboard one of the trucks in wacky races
If anyone needs me, I'll be lying down. It was harder than I thought it'd be to get balanced teams - I did maths and everything!!!

You did a great job organising this, it was really balanced.
Now I just have to work on my nerves and panicking with ubers!
