I think having only 8 signups isnt a problem seeing as we always get loads of people who want to play anyway on the night. Everyone just get someone on their friends list to join and then we have an 8v8.

Oh yes, Badlands and Gravelpit.

The only issue with last minute sign ups / flist drafts is team balance. Beyond that it's all good.

Mehby - I'll give you a poke on Steam Friends (assuming I've got you on my list)

Obviously I've not done the match poll yet and won't get to do that until tonight so what I'll do is look at which are the two most popular maps chosen by you guys when I get home and we'll play those.

I'll set some basic 4v4 or 5v5 teams when I get home and anyone else can bolt onto those. Will post them up before 7:45pm.

Sorry it's not as organised as last time, real life is still very much intruding into my headspace and will be for quite some time to come. I might have a whinge about it on the offtopic forum at some point ;)

Ok, based on the signups so far, and bearing in mind some of them are tentative (so i've erred on teh side of caution and tried to balance the teams on the assumption that Sam and Mr. Tonic won't be there), here are some possible teams:

Team 1 - United
Acid|Mist
Mehby
MJ-Healy
Diakun
Bedizen
(Mr.Tonic)

Team 2 - City
Patch
Queedballer
Knifer21
Bolt
SgtHardPlace
(Sam)

Once again I've tried to balance them based on the alleged skill of the players according to your stats. They ought to be well balanced based on the pure numbers but I realise that accounts for only a part of how good someone is...

In terms of the maps:
I've got 2 votes each for badwater basin, steel and gravelpit.
I'm inclined to make the decision on Badwater and Steel, in that order, as they're both the 'new' maps.

So there you go. game on!
