Ok the gist of this is to try and get peoples opinions on other players across and to list the pro's and con's of their game. Also giving them hints and tips on how to improve. i dont want to hear griping, slagging or even brown nosing ok, lets keep it nice and factual and hopefully both the pros and noobs can learn something. it may sound a but wierd but get over your selves. dont just stick to your mates as well, even a comment on another player you saw do something pretty cool and thought was a good idea, please share it



Ill start with Negcreep (sorry dude you got to start somewhere). last ladies night i was playing as medic and it was damn trick trying to keep up with you m8, when i could we almost certainly ownd but many times we got split up and i got killed. so o would advise you to A) slow the hell down and wait for your team and B) watch my back alot more.
other than that your a pretty well rounded player

Well I think that critisism is often a good way of enhancing oneself. But...

Out in the public like this has two severe weaknesses.

1. The criticism is out in the open makes one quite vurnarable.
2. You're not sure if someone is looking for the criticism (eg. Not all in ladies night players might be That serious that they want critiscism on their play (they might not want to try next time cuz they think they are getting more criticism -as criticism= never fun)).

More I'd like it if people ask after what they're unsure of or if you try and tell them try using a more private way of communicating (I'm actually convinced talking after a game about how it went is quite beneficial as stress=less and ideas are better developed). For me (and I think most experienced players on the HH) would kindly give you advise on whatever, just ask.

I might be taking things more seriously as intended and dont't think Negcreep has to be defended for his play but in general I think i had to comment on this post

I think this thread will most likely end up in tears. To critisize players when they are not looking for it may be a bad idea and create a little bit of drama in the community.
Perhaps it would be best to be self critical and ask other players for advice on learning new tricks etc.
For instance at the moment youll have noticed me running around as spamoman i mean demoman. im slowly getting better but i have nightmare trying to deal with scouts. Any advice on this would be good
I would also appreciate it if anyone had advice on relaxation techniques as i need to learn to subdue my SNIPER RAGE( shakes fist at gash). At the moment im using semi-naked ladies on my 2nd monitor, and it helps, but its also a ditraction sometimes.

well were all grown ups here and everyone should be able to take a little criticism but all im suggesting is hints and tips not an "ah your crap" post. the gist of it is to say things like "you could be so much better if you didnt do that, and try doing that instead".

maybe my faith in maturity here is misplaced if so then sure ill kill this thread. if its taken seriously then it could work

But i like the idea of self criticism etc. if people want the opinions of others, this is perhaps a nice way of getting it. i would be very weary of just posting abotu the flaws of other people when they've not asked for it though.

i know its dif ground but iv seen a few people who are excellent players do some pretty dumb stuff and quite often as well. the point of this is to show people issues with their game that they would otherwise overlooked. self criticism is fine but it means you already know what you problem is. does no one think this is a good idea? i know it could be abused, but it wont be, ill be watching, plus i think people a far to scared for this to actually work anyway

I consider myself a well rounded player like you said, but by no means the best at any class. Theres always room for improvement. I'm still getinng used to 6v6/7v7 tactics. There was a few times with Al as medic on ladies where I charged ahead in a crazy effort to kill their medic, only to turn round and see he had abandoned me in favour of not dying. Fair enough, learnt a lesson. Next time we'll kick ass indtead of just stalemating.

I'm always up for some self improvement , feel free to tear my playing to shreds.

Also I think Gash is the the noobiest ever and should just give up and play
