Howya doing, just another wee post from your friend crakIshadow. Ill throw any updates and news about the tournament on this post along with the rules and regulations of the tournament as i think of them



Rules
The ruleset we will be following is the Highlander rules for 4v4 arena.
1There will be a class limit of 1 for every team, engineers and medics will not be allowed. Basically meaning each team must choose one of each from Heavy, Sniper, Soldier, Demo, Pyro, Spy and Scout. Any breach of this rule will lead to immediate forfeit of the match losing all games regardless of score, so make sure it doesnt happen.

2Teams are fairly small so ringers should not be needed and are obviously the last resort, however, one ringer is allowed per match. This person may not be a member of another team in the tournament and must be a member/reg of HH to participate. Please try and keep the need for ringers to a minimum. This will be discussed more when numbers are known

3It goes without saying cheating is against the rules, anyone caught cheating in anyway will be immediately kicked out of the tournament

4Obviously teams may wish to use the ventrilo server to communicate during matches. However respect the rules of ventrilo and when joining to start a match switch to an empty channel where the whole team can stay for the match. Do not sit in the lobby.

5All match scores must be screenshotted at the end and pm'd to me so I can record the score.

6Any issues regarding the matches, events in matches or problems must be proved by screenshots. I cannot entertain people that have no proof. If a problem occurs screenshot the events that led to this problem and pm them to me. I can then deal with the problem effectively. Anything that breaks the rules above must be screenshotted and sent to me.
6AIf the leader sees fit he may stop the match if the problem effects the outcome of the match. When this problem is brought to my attention if it is a genuine breach of rules the team that brought forward the problem will win the rest of the games left to be played. However if this problem would not effect the outcome of the final score the team that brought forward the problem will lose the rest of the games left to play.

7 If players fail to show up to games a ringer must be found if allowed by the number of people on your team. Please do not have another team waiting. If a player drops during the game, the team leader should type 'pause' into the console to stop the game. Once this happens, the team leader must try and find a ringer to play in the game. This is precaution in case the team member does not return. If 10 minutes pass and the players/ringer have not returned to the match, then the opposing team has a choice as to whether they want to replay the match in the interest of fairness, or make the other team forfeit. In a forfeit scenario, the current score is kept and the remaining rounds will be given to the opposing team.
