I think there are some compatibility problems with arena mode and the match config unfortunately. I'll see if I can get confirmation on this and maybe test it before Wednesday. It's something I've been meaning to get to as I'd like to do some Arena Matches at some point.

If/When I get confirmation I'll post again here.

I did some arena testing last night with some help from SenCommander, Bedizen and Mify. It appears to work, so I'm happy to run an arena map if it wins the vote

I'm keen to give it a good testing tomorrow night and see just how well arena maps perform in match conditions. I really rate the concept of arena for events like this.

Finally after months of having the game mode around, we have found a use for it.... Ladies night!

Only problem is getting the team balance right, but I'm sure there is a way of doing this.

Team balance is tricky, but something we can work on I guess.

I'll do a quick divide of the signups into teams on wednesday evening before the game, but we'll see what happens on the night.

I *really* want Arena to work for this, I think it's an exceptional game mode for this kind of event. Two teams that don't get shuffled, fighting to the death in an elimination style match. Lovely.

And that's just given me the idea for next weeks LN setup... nice.
