Now i have been talking to sarge and we have decided to branch out in events! As the community is now very large and growing all the time, we thought it would be a good idea to try and run another ladies night on sunday! This helps all the people that cant play on wednesday night and gives them a chance to involve themselves in something! This is just a trial to see how it goes but the concept will work the same as ladies night, so put down that steak and kidney pie and stick ur name down and 2 maps of your choice! As this is the first event I've run i expect to see sigs from all me friends, You know who you are!!!
We will play for an hour, 30 minutes on each map! There is allways a chance it will carry on depending on how people feel after. To get the maps you want make sure you stick them in your post! Also if there is a better time for you on sunday than 3.00pm please say aswell so i can try and make it more appropriate for everyone! Many thanks!!! xxxxx

Yeah Sign me up, 3pm is fine but find another name for it... it can't be ladies night if it's not dark out (and for Bedizen to wear a dress in daylight is something none of us want to see...)
Swampy - You'll want to give yourself more than an hour for two 30 minute maps. In Ladies Night it typically takes a little over 2 hours to get through 2 60 minute maps, or a 60 minute and a 30 minute. Last night it took an hour and 30 to do two 30 minuters - including about 20 minutes to set up and a 5-10 minute break in the middle.
If you use the match configs, it's pretty clear which one to use depending on the match type. Arena maps and 5cp maps use the 30 minute one, but some (I think ctf and pl) use the 60 minute. Not sure about tc, I think that's 60 as well.
Of course, that's based on guidance from frog which I presume reflects league match play so if you wanted to do 'quick maps' then that might make things a bit more frenetic on the traditionally longer maps.
