Well, before we had all 3 servers full at all times and now... Now we have problems filling up just 1 server.
It's sort of off-topic, but a suggestion on filling up servers: regs could be doing that fairly effectively. Assuming a larger group of them gets on an empty server at once, you don't have try filling it up starting from just one or two people. This'd also free up some space on HH#1, allowing more people to join.
Basically, just make filling up servers a team effort, beyond the occasional "hey guys fill up server #N" announcement. Use the HH TF2 Steam group chat, or something? In-game chat would work as well, but if one server's active, it tends to be full pretty much all the time.
thanks sarge sorry i didn't see the rules before, or maybe did and wasn't arsed to read
kind of off-topic as this is an announcement but maybe a good thing would be to have one night for more serious play...this is great for HH as it helps train/give experience to people, lets them know if they like that style and also gives the higher members an insight into who might be the next leugue players etc,...like a kind of training ground i suppose. But then have another night which is just for the lolz, have a bit of all heavies melee or that kind of thing.

Re: Wednesday Community Matches - Cancelled
this is a big shock, and an even bigger shame, i didn't realise things were getting that bad.
i was a regular at ladies night for a long time, and the reason i stopped signing up was that i thought it was busy enough and i wanted, especially after i got my membership, to give some of the newer members of the community a chance to sign up and play something a bit more competitive.
me and my bro's are always around, so when/if it does get going again i will go back to signing up religiously every week and, if i don't sign up, give me some grief and get me to play if numbers are dwindling.
i hope that giving it a rest for a bit will make people realise what a great job sarge and others do in organising a fun and competitive match.
in the words of joni mitchell "dont it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone"
Well to be honest this doesnt come as a shock to me. After speaking with sarge on tuesday night i think it was, I could just hear it in his voice that the hole thing was getting him down. It is unfortunate to see sarge now give up his role as head of ladies night, however I think it is for the best at this present moment.
Sarge thank you for your compliments on the HH Nations cup, there was a lot of scepticism at the start and I am very proud to say that it has been a resounding success, with only some minor migraines suffered . However despite what has been said I do believe the cup has affected ladies night. I have made sure that cup matches have not over-lapped to ladies night, as said there was one night that a match extended 5 minutes over time, and I kissed ass for that so all was good. People have gotten a feel for match play noow which was my mission in the first place, however this has taken away the need for signing up to the ladies night match play.
However, the HH nations cup is now into the semi finals which hopefully should end by wednesday. Then we have the final which hopefully will take place before the next wednesday. What I am getting at is that with some small help from sarge (hopefully) I propose to run ladies night on the 16th of April. We will take a one week break from it and I will run ladies night on the 16th of April. I believe this will take the pressure off sarge as he will not be 'mr organiser', he will be a lonely old maggot who gets to play instead of work out teams etc etc. What say you mr hard place?
Cheers Crak
