Yeah I would request his demos it would put our minds at rest I think. There shouldn't be a problem with it if he has nothing to hide anyway. Also if you could raise the question of modified server settings/cvars with the admin and how we/they go about checking them.

Very hard to tell in l4d though, but off the scale awesomeness is bloody rare, especially in a game where people simply dont play it enough to become THAT good.

Hes been caught cheating on CS:S

I was watching the server tick over as you played. Ace consistently got double everyone else's score, our team and theirs.

As I said, either he's _THE MAN_ at L4D or there's cheating going on.

Be easier to tell if we play them again on our server.

Also found it funny how he didnt realise shotguns dont go through walls yet he was pure win. See my demo from last match (the infamous smoker bit) - Ace tries a few shots at me with the shotty through the wall first, then Dry runs over and tries the M16 instead. Odd.

He'll get caught sooner or later, and when he does we can point the wp admins at this thread to hopefully get the result overturned.

Like Ntrailz, I thought there were a high number or medpacks and pills appearing at random throughout the level.

The admin team has requested his demo files, they'll review them and let us know the decision.

Any news on this? Rarely venture in here, but this whole cheating business got me interested.

He didnt have a demo. Surprise surprise.

He has lots of hours on L4d (but then CS:S cheaters tend to have lots of hours too) so we decided in the interest of not wanting to sound like moaning twats to drop it.

Hopefully the request of a demo from the admins will be enough. We will find out next time we play them I guess. I would imagine it sets alarm bells ringing when accusations are made to the admins and demo's not produced. I would expect them to be keeping an eye on him.
