I would like to echo dreamer's comments about this. KOTH would be a much better option. Last time we had great problems with people's rigs getting blue screens, uber lag, disconnection, unexpected visit by mum, etc etc which prevented some from playing properly. There were a number of misunderstandings about how to settle this issue which left some team members waiting for their player to log back on while opposite team continued playing. There should be a rule of STOP game when a player unexpectedly goes offline in order to preserve fairness in the competition.
Given KOTH's better time management scheme, I'd vote for that as it gives players time to log back on and play with their team.

Well actually I was considering postponing this tournament due to the pathetic turnout for this tournament taking in to account the numbers for the last tournament as well as the number of new regs we continue to get in. However things seem to be improving a bit so all is well again (thanks to sarge for the server messages on the tournament)

MandC due to the above no dates are available as yet although if applications continue to come in as they are doing I will be able to start organising teams etc. So stay tuned!!

To address the Koth issues. Some people have mentioned this idea but I dont think it will work as well. There are quite a few people that seem to dislike Koth according to this topic. Along with this people are saying that FPS drops badly in Koth mode. Due to this I dont think Koth will be the format of the event. It will stick to arena as it was the last time.
