How about you get a number of points for a win, draw, lose etc, but you also record the number of cans the team collected.

If it comes down to a tie on points then the team/s that has the overall LEAST amount of cans wins. Because they obviously did a better job as infected stopping the other team from getting cans, and so needed less rounds and cans to win their matches.

I think that could work unless theres some glaring flaw that eludes me right now.

You cannot draw ?

How about.

if you win a round you get 16 cans regardless. If you lose a round you get the cans you won in that round. If its only 2 rounds then winning team get 16 more cans for winning the 3 round ?

Plus maybe a small win bonus as it could be 16 16 16.

I think using cans as a tie break makes sense. That way you can concentrate on winning, not on counting cans.

I dont know If I like the idea of getting a whole games worth of cans just for winning in less rounds....thats why I said it should only be taken into account if its a tie. Ill do some sums later and see what it works out like.

I did a spreadsheet of all the possible outcomes if we play 7 games :ugeek: (thought thats enough to show how it works) . If you do it so its 16 points for a win and + 2 points extra for a '2 round win' then it all works out nice and fair.

This way you never get a team with 6 wins beating a team with 7 wins.



(It's a bit of a quiet day at work if you hadnt guessed)
